Best of the Midwest
It’s an honor for me to be invited as a keynote speaker at this year’s Annual Associated Collegiate Press Best of the Midwest College Newspaper Convention, to be held February 17 at the Minneapolis Hilton. I’ve been asked to share my ideas about what leaders have shared with me about leadership, and how this can be applied in the newsroom. I have a feeling that I will also share a bit of career advice for those entering the field. It should be great fun.

Best Bookstores in the World
It’s been a very busy time for me, both professionally and personally. I’ve been away for a time, but I promise to blog more regularly. That said, here’s a great story about some of the best bookstores in the world. Sean Dodson chooses his 10 favorite bookshops from around the world. Surprisingly, not all of them are independents. Borders in Glasgow is located in a neoclassical building, designed in 1827.
